The Black Report was founded in 2004 by Richard Jones Media LLC to address the lack of diversity in news coverage across major media outlets; in particular the news headline coverage classified as “top news stories” of the day. As one of the nation’s leading Black owned news media outlets, The Black Report has established a growing social media base, with daily visitors from across the globe. Our news coverage is open to all audiences as we strive to move the needle toward a more inclusive media ecosystem.
